Are there any air conditioned buildings at the track where somebody can cool off? I see it's supposed to be pretty warm this weekend, and my gf has a few health issues that make hot/humid weather tough.

There is an air conditioned building and spectators can go up in the viewing room to watch.

I normally park across from the grass so I can keep my stuff on the asphalt and run the generator across the road. Friday you can be a little picky if you arrive early, but Saturday and Sunday you may just have to take what you can get.

Do not expect to have power available. Site power at South is severely limited and even if you get a plug in it is normally so overloaded nothing works.

I'm taped on #11 on a Gray BMW. You'll find lots of #11s out there and that's OK!

Glad to hear about the AC, thanks.

I'd be willing to go the extra mile, and change my number to 111, just to be a little different.

Don't even think about it... welcome to Club 11!

Just got back from a really short trip to Myrtle Beach and changed my oil, so we're packing up and will be on our way to VIR shortly. Hopefully we'll meet some of you tonight.

I thought I sent a private message with my number, but it doesn't show in my sent items, so I don't know what happened. We made it around 6 and the auction was fun. I'm amazed at what some people donated, but I didn't have any cash or checkbook to participate. I could have used a new back protector too.

Anyways, send me a text or something in the morning if you want to meet up. We've met a few people so far and it seems like a good group.

Geoff, it was great meeting and chatting with you and Jessica (did I get that right?)

Hope to see you out there again soon!

Patriot Course at the end of the season would be a blast on the DRZ and CBR250 :)

Thanks Dan. Yup, Geoff and Jess.

We both had a blast out there, but I gotta get a generator and some fans if I do another day in that kind of weather. Wooh, that was hot!

I think I'll have fun learning the South course, but Patriot would be cool too.

Yeah that heat was brutal. Now if you make an event for North Course the paddock is much nicer. Plenty of power available so you don't really need a generator. But South and Patriot its best to have one.

You might also want to check out the PRE forum if you think more track days are in your future. It's mostly track talk over there but you may also get a better answer on your brake reservoir question, or find someone who has a spare.
