LOL. I probably had a thong, and eye patch, and one sock on underneath... My buddy John, #221, was behind me and that was one of my best track days ever.

So 13 votes and not one of them is for the most awesome bike Suzuki ever built.
#7 may look like your ordinary run of the mill squidly gixxer but there are a few things that need to be considered. That bike has well over 60,000 miles on it and is ridden every month of the year rain or shine, even in the snow. The dyno from Lee's on the stock engine was 156.4 hp and 80.8 ft/lb of tourqe. This bike has kept up with Fred in the mountains of western North Carolina up to the point of rider error and wicked highside. A trip to GMD Computrack straightend everything back out then an upgrade to 06 lighter wheels, better forks, brakes and master with stainless lines and race tech internals with gold valves. The rear shock got sent off and revalved/sprung for my weight. Crg adjustable brake lever for ergonomics and a super-sprocket set (1 down 3 up) and 3-d chain (that I will bet is the cleanest one in this competition) to lighten up the drive train. An aftermarket shift star keeps the gears tight and a fresh oem clutch kit is ready for lots more yutughs. It has had a taste for michelins but now munches on q3 dunlops and drinks mobile 1 and rbf 600 fluid cocktails. A couple of sets of tanks/plastics as well as a set of aztec 8 dual 4" speed tripple lookalike headlights will keep you guessing on the street and the trick paint job from Ron that has the most colors he has ever sprayed on a bike for the track.

It aint the newest hottest or maybe not the fastest. Yeah its just another gixxer but IMO the extruded frame and swingarm look/hold-up/perform better than the painted black cast pot metal of the newer models.

Lots of good competition this month..... so i guess I need to lobby a bit

Call her the Old Gray Mare

She has Penske Rear shock, AK20 fork cartridges, Arkrapovic exhaust with Power Comander. CZ Forged Wheels, Renthal Clip-ons, Vortex Rearsets, quick turn throttle, fancy levers and a whole lot more...... (well a whole lot more just means some sick ass stickers I designed for my fake racing team). Oh and don't forget a rider who can't come close to using her potential, LOL.

So if you like primer then vote for the drab with some flare :)

The 400 doesn't need fancy parts to go fast or lipstick to look good. :P

So you're telling me that bike is stock? Don't think think that is accurate

But good for you style goes in cycles and the 90s are back. So your old ass suit is in vogue again ;)

LOL. I've owned my current CB-1 twice. It is a pretty small community so the bikes tend to get passed around.

A nice guy picked up the last of my spare CB-1s tonight, so I have just the VFR and 750 to sell to make some space!
