I learned to do wheelies by going up a hill. It was easier to keep the “balance point” with a steep hill.

Here are a couple ideas. Next time you come over, I can take your bike for a ride with you sitting on the back so you can feel what the balance point feels like and you can still be sipping on your beer . You could always try to put bricks in your bags and gas the hell out of it then dump the clutch! If anything, that would be funny to see…..

Really though, there is a nice long upgrade hill near my house that might be good to practice on. There are a few houses there, so we could not stay too long. There is another hill (no houses) in the new construction area behind my neighborhood, but you would not be able to ride a long one (shorter distance).

I will bring the video camera so we can record you moves.

I thought those wheelies were fun, you didn't try to do some stunt there, just having fun

You should re-watch the video. My knee pucks look brand new and my wheelies didn't get high enough to need a wheelie bar . Thanks though.

I was just outside and couldn't agree with you more, but I looked at the radar and it isn't looking good. Unless that front splits (moves harder north/splits east towards the ocean) then we're gonna get dumped on later tonight. Looks like scattered showers until 9ish, so still a possibility. Best to check the radar again this afternoon.

My wife left her purse in a shopping cart about a month ago. Called all the stores she had been at that day, and one of them actually had her purse at the service desk. Everything was still there. That's twice she's gotten so lucky..............I don't want to chance it a 3rd time.

Caleb, I heard kneedraggers.com is running a combo deal on closeout knee pucks and wheelie bars. Might be the perfect opportunity to put some protection on those sidebags while keeping the wheelies down
