Good times! Mostly the regulars and a few new guys. Thanks for coming out guys! Really looking forward to this season. Excited to start honing the skills again. Maybe next week I'll perfect that 5-foot fishtail.

The R1 is completely unmolested and drop dead sexy. Less miles, and less money. What's not to like?

That being said, no, 14K is not high milage and I would not hesitate to buy one with it.

I voted R1 because it is the better bike with less miles for less $$$. But in the end its your money, so buy whatever makes you happy. I concur with the others on this board that 14K is not really a lot of miles mechanically, its just that a majority of bikes probably never live that long because they are totaled long before they get that many miles. There are quite a few people on this board who have 30+K miles on their bikes with no major mechanical issues.

Keep in mind that at 14K, you will need to do a valve check in about 1-2K miles, likely needs a new chain in the next 5K miles and the fork seals will probably need replacing in the not-to-distant future. The Yamaha won't need a valve check until 26K and obviously its parts also have less miles on them so it'll be longer before you have to replace any of them.

So yeah, I was thinking that I would replace my god awful loud D&D Muffler on the little gix and this is what I got

Its a level one racing and its freakin louder than the dadgum D&D ,
Does sound good though, but I might have to get the optional sound lowering insert
